The Vision

All Aboard! The Swamp Rabbit Station is coming to Greenville and we want YOU to be involved!  Leadership Greenville Class 39 is partnering with the Greenville County Recreation District to refurbish a 70-year-old Greenville-Northern Railroad box car and create a unique destination.

This park will act as a resting point along the trail and a gathering point for families, cyclists, and runners as it will stand in the center of the 17-mile Greenville Health System Swamp Rabbit Trail.

Get Involved

While sponsored by Leadership Greenville Class 39, this is a community park and a community project.  We would be honored to have you play a part!

Help us lay the tracks... here's how:

About the Trail

The Greenville Health System Swamp Rabbit Trail is used by more than 360,000 individuals annually and more than 24,000 people reside within a 2-mile radius of this project.  Swamp Rabbit Station will be an exciting addition for Greenville, trail users, and especially the Berea community.

"This park will spark further economic development along the trail and be a source of community pride." - Ty Houck, Greenville County Recreation Director of Greenways
